Davos is an excellent ski resort that overwhelms visitors with magnificent views of the Swiss Alps as well as cosmopolitan atmosphere. Davos is the largest region for mountain recreation in all the Alps with tens of thousands skiing enthusiasts and people looking to have a good time and enjoy the purest mountain air coming here every year.
Since the resort is located in the highlands, it might be a good idea to book a transfer to Davos before you arrive at the nearby airport. Considering the fact that this region is extremely popular, getting on the train or bus may prove to be a problem. They can siply be overloaded, especially during the weekend.
The road to Davos is the most difficult part of the trip. Once you get there it’s only positive emotions and impressions. The skiing and snowboarding area is very diverse. There are trails for anyone - from complete beginners to professionals. Be ready for rather long lines to to the lifts on Fridays. You might want to go skating or enjoy a romantic trip on a horse-drawn sleigh on this day. Davos offers quality holidays for everyone!
The resort is made of two parts - Davos Dorf and Davos Platz - and because of this, its territory is stretched out along the valley, which doesn’t make it too very convenient to get around. There is a free bus going long the main road, but it’s always full, especially in the evenings. However, you can always order a taxi in Davos.

Davos frequently hosts professional competitions in speed skating, skiing, hockey, snowboarding, etc. And if there is an event like this around the time you are there, do not miss out - it is guaranteed to excite and invigorate.
In addition to all the trails and entertainment in Davos, there are also children's and adult ski schools, equipment rentals, health clinics and even museums. Study all the interesting places there can take far more than one day, so if you don’t want to spend all your vacation time on sightseeing, you can book a taxi service in Davos, and take in the whole resort in just a day.
